Stephan Martiniere has been one of my favorite SFF artists for quite a while now. If you've read science fiction and/or fantasy in the last ten years, chances are you've read a book with or seen a cover done by Martiniere. Most, though not all, of his work feature futuristic or technological scenes, often blended with a sweeping majestic landscape, and often with a figure somewhere in the foreground. His work is so well known that he even has some imitators. You can view more of his work on his site here. Enjoy!

Yes, he is awesome and certainly one of my top three favorite artists. I even hired him to do the cover art for the book I hope to release next year. Have you seen this amazing newer painting of his? http://www.martiniere.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/4f440d5e-2b9a-4365-a01a-14219fe7de75.png
Ted, I have seen that one, though I didn't realize it was his. I even bought the book.
